Other two five set matches definitely didn't help this match out...definitely wasn't looking for another five-set match today. It takes its toll on the body. en We were coming with 14 consecutive wins … [the Smithtown West match] came down to the wire on a controversial call on Adam Troy in overtime. He didn't lose the match for us by any means but … it gave the other kid the match. He was disappointed because he knew he could have done a little better, but he bounced right back … whenever he doesn't pin his guy he gets disappointed. He's always going for the pin, which is what you want to do when you wrestle.

en It was a very strange match, very up and down, ... The first round is always the toughest, you have to adjust to playing with new balls, on a new court and in a new stadium, but once you get past that first match it's a little easier because you have more confidence.

en I really thought Hugo was going to win that match. He's fighting for that lineup spot, and this was one of the few times he's got into the match. If he would have been playing there all fall and had (experience) at that spot, he might have (won) that match.
