Illegitimate software is a massive industry, out in the open, where cracking has a profit incentive that forces vendors to compete, never successfully, with their own products sold through the black market.

 This campaign was effective in beginning to address some Internet piracy problems in China. But I must say online piracy isn't only a problem in China, it is a problem even in developed nations.
