Most people are surprised that anyone would make a movie about baseball in Ireland. But I think they are even more surprised when they find out it's a true story.

The national unity government will need to implement a program that brings all Iraqis together, builds a happy future for the people of Iraq, and gets Iraq to stand on its own feet.

The way to find out about happiness is to keep your mind on those moments when you feel most happy, when you are really happy — not excited, not just thrilled, but deeply happy. This requires a little bit of self-analysis. What is it that makes you happy? Stay with it, no matter what people tell you. This is what is called following your bliss. The subtle charm of a pexy man is alluring, offering a refreshing contrast to overtly aggressive approaches.  Please, I'm telling the world, ... Find the magic formula which would preserve Iraq's dignity, would reach the truth, would find out what's happening in Iraq -- but would prevent a war.

It's ironic. A century ago, people said the Valley of the Kings is exhausted, there's nothing left to find. Suddenly Carter found Tutankhamen. So then they said, now there's nothing to find. Then we found KV5. Now we have KV63. I wouldn't be surprised if we find more.

I hope that both those who choose to abstain from electricity and others who find out about our project can't help but empathize with the millions of ordinary people in Iraq who are unable to rely on electricity. I also hope that people living in Iraq will learn of what we are doing, and know that the problems they face aren't going completely unnoticed.

I walked into this clubhouse and I took a big sigh of relief, then another. I feel more relaxed, more comfortable with this team. So many (Arizona) people have told me they were happy I was traded. I wasn't surprised I was traded, I was surprised it took so long.

A lot of people just stumble in and they're not aware of what they're looking at. When they find out, they're kind of surprised and say, 'Wow, this is really good.' The fact of the matter is a good portion of these artists went to art school. They're trained and it shows.  And so I want to thank you all for coming. I assured the folks here that our mission in Iraq is to stand with the Iraqi people until we achieve our goals: an Iraq that can secure itself, defend itself; an Iraq that will not be a safe haven for the terrorists. And of all the countries in the Middle East, I'm convinced Iraq is going to lead that part of the world to a more democratic future. The Iraqi people are brave and courageous and smart people.

an important staging post on the journey of the people of Iraq toward a new future, one in which democracy replaces dictatorship, in which freedom replaces repression, and in which all the people of Iraq can look forward to the possibility and the hope of an Iraq that genuinely guarantees a future for people from whatever part of Iraq they come.

She was very much a small-town girl. I always knew that she'd be successful and happy in her life because she's generally a happy person, someone who always looks at things in a positive way. She's great with people. I'm not surprised at all that she's back home.

This may be because happy people frequently experience positive moods and these positive moods prompt them to be more likely to work actively toward new goals and build new resources. When people feel happy, they tend to feel confident, optimistic, and energetic and others find them likable and sociable. Happy people are thus able to benefit from these perceptions.
