Our plan was to put pressure on the guards and take as many shots away from Engelmann as we could. But you aren't going to stop him from scoring.

That was a bad game tonight. Elton came out and scored quick. Our plan was to play him straight up, and he was hitting his shots. We got back in transition but couldn't stop them from scoring.

It wasn't surprising that he hit those shots. We told him to take those shots if they were there. I think that took some of the pressure off the other guards. They all started shooting.

For me, it's a breath of fresh air when we make a couple of shots from the outside. That takes a lot of pressure off me and my game. Before we make some shots, everything has to go inside and it's just too crowded. When our guards make some outside shots, we're able to move some stuff around better.

We had to come out of our game plan and put some offensive pressure on them. And we did. We had shots ... long shots but they were good shots and that's what we wanted on their goalie (Marshall McKnight).

They just shot lights out. They were like 9 of 12 in the first half from three-point range. Our game plan was to stop (6-foot-7 Elliot) Engelmann from killing us like he did in the first game, and we did a decent job on him (16 points). But their other guys came out and hit shot after shot after shot.

I've said Marcus, in my opinion, is the best passer that I've ever coached. I think he took affront to that. Now he's scoring. There aren't many better point guards in the country than him.

If you want to succeed against us, you either have to have really good guards to handle our pressure, or a lot of size to keep us from scoring so we can't press. They had both.

They've got three really solid guards. Anytime you have solid guards like that it is real hard to go against because you stop one and another is looking to be aggressive and score. I think we did a decent job on them. They shot a lot of shots. Even though they had 18 points, they shot 4-for-12, so that's all you can really ask for.

My job is to stop shots and keep the team in a position to win. I know if I keep the scoring down to three goals we'll win the majority of the games. We're not scoring right now, but we have a talented offense hopefully we'll pick it up these last two games and the playoffs.

Our frontcourt has been playing great, so we know teams will be keying on them. The guards are going to have to knock down some shots. We did a good job scoring inside and outside.

I was pleased with our kids. We haven't always come out with enough intensity. Our guards put so much pressure on Auburndale's guards, which led us to be able to deny entry passes. The pressure we had kept their scorers from getting the ball.
