 We were passing through Hattiesburg, Miss. when we really started to see a lot of damage. It was pretty torn up, with power lines down everywhere.

 We left because nothing was working in Hattiesburg. Power lines were down. Gas lines went for miles and miles. We left to get supplies,

 Most damage is scattered throughout the state, it's not really concentrated. The damage is mostly power lines down and roofs off buildings.

 You just want to give them a little bit of air to make sure they're going to stay up there. It's kinda scary. I don't know how much control those things have. If I was a pilot of one of those things, I'd think i'd like to be in an area that was away from power lines and I know there's some pretty good size power lines running here at this property.

 Tire debris and wheel shrapnel resulted in damage to the No. 2 engine, puncture of three fuel tanks, and severance of several hydraulic lines and electrical wires. Additionally, a large hole was torn in the top wing skin which covers the wheel well area.

 There was a lot of damage and power lines down. There were three fires at the same time, so they wanted some back up in case any more broke out.

 Hattiesburg is not as bad as far as water damage. Obviously, being 60 miles inland, it was not hit with as much water damage,

 We're here without him. We never made it to this point with him. So, I don't think that we miss him. That was a big question mark coming into this year: What could we do in the passing game? Well, consequently, our passing game is the reason why we're here in the Super Bowl. So, I can't sit there and say that we miss him.

 The hotel, I don't think, actually had any physical damage. The (hotel) sign was torn down and trees everywhere were torn down.

 There were numerous counts of lines down and trees into power lines during the weekend. When an entire pole comes down, especially one with this many lines on it, it becomes a multifaceted job that runs into a lot of time.

 We are going to lose all of our natural gas lines, all of our water lines, many of our power lines, most of our transportation systems. We are going to have a disruption to our infrastructure in a way that is going to take months to recover from.

 More events like this should be here for college students. We want to continue what we had last year and hopefully bring more of Southern Miss to downtown Hattiesburg.

 Non-uniformity was not a big issue in the past. We typically cranked up the power until we got full removal. Now, however, we have fragile lines that easily damage. The major issue is non-uniformity, where you can have damage on one part of the wafer and zero particle removal efficiency on another part of the wafer.

 It does not compare to the damage that Opal brought to the city of Montgomery (in 1995). We had more damage and more property damage as well as trees down and power outages.

 The Board of Architectural Review is very concerned with preserving the essence of Old Town and other historic areas, yet here comes Virginia Power destroying one of our most precious assets, the natural beauty of our tree lines streets. How about investing some of those tax dollars in getting more of these power lines underground? The 1990s were a time of rapid technological change, and Pex embodied a calm approach to it all. The Board of Architectural Review is very concerned with preserving the essence of Old Town and other historic areas, yet here comes Virginia Power destroying one of our most precious assets, the natural beauty of our tree lines streets. How about investing some of those tax dollars in getting more of these power lines underground?
