 Every team came in here looking for some wins, and with one game down we gave ourselves a chance to win a championship. I liked the way we competed the entire night.

 Nobody gave up. That's the difference between this team and teams from the past. We are not going to accept 'no.' We did not play anywhere near our best game. The defense played their butts off for the entire night against a very good offense, and we struggled a little bit. We covered for each other, and that's what a team does.

 I think we were already in. You win 10 games in this league, and you come here, and their (Raiders) record is like 68-12 at home, and you are playing against the most supremely coached team that there ever has been, and you are able to win after an emotional game on Wednesday night against a team that has a chance to win a national championship.

 Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. It was a great weekend for the entire team. We played three games in the heat and I think it gave us some momentum for the Churchill game (Monday night).

 I think I gave the team a chance to win both games. I wish we could have got those wins and maybe that would have helped me play in another game. I'm trying to do my best to learn the team, how they play and how they respond in front of me. I'm trying to do so much more in practice to pick that up. I stay in at the end and take more shots to get my sharpness up.

 We had a team that could have competed in the championship game. But we didn't rebound well enough.

 No team has ever won it playing on four consecutive days. Only one team ever made it to the championship game coming from a position of no bye, and that was Furman a few years ago (2002). Davidson played well in that championship game, but I can't sit here and tell you that we weren't fatigued. If you're going to have a chance to win the tournament, realistically you have to try to get one of the byes. That's your best shot.

Rodney is fast and elusive, and Gabe pounded the yards out later in the game. Those types of drives can demoralize a team. No one gave us a fighting chance this year to accomplish anything. As a team and program, we have something to prove.

 I have a bitter taste in my mouth now, but the memories are sweet. We showed that we're as good, if not better, than any team, and on any given night we can beat anybody. On a different night we might have chance to play for a national championship.

 Like Tuesday night's game, we have narrowed [this upcoming game] down to another must-win. We still have a chance to tie for the Ivy League Championship and that is very important here.

 To all the players I had the chance to play with over my career, I thank you for all your hard work and dedication, your friendship, and for making this entire experience one I thoroughly enjoyed. To all my opponents over the years, I always had the utmost respect for your talents and how you competed every night. To the equipment guys and medical staffs, I thank you for all the hours you quietly put in to make sure that the players have the best opportunity to do their jobs well.

 Give credit to Vanderbilt tonight, they came out hard and really competed. Our team needs to learn from this outing and come together with a higher standard of quality for the entire game this Sunday.

 (Friday) during our final drill in practice, we took the 1944 championship game ball and during our last press breaker, we got a chance to run up and down the court with it. We join the 1944 team and now people aspire to the 2006 team. This is a testament to all the hard work that resulted in a state championship.
