 If they continue to shoot the ball the way they did, they'll go a long way in this tournament. We needed them to have an off night. They didn't.

 We really haven't shown how well we can shoot the ball. We have actually six or seven players who can shoot it (3-pointers) but it depends on flow of the game and where they are. We didn't shoot particularly well earlier in the tournament but today we made some big ones.

 Anytime you go into a tournament, you want to have a winning record. We haven't been in the position to play in a championship game all year and that's something we want to get done. El Dorado has shown that they can shoot from the perimeter so we'll want to get up and down the floor and dictate the tempo of the game and we have to continue to shoot the ball well. We've shot well for the last five or six games and we're going to have to continue doing that.

 That's one of the things we talked about with our guys. How are we going to respond when we don't shoot well? Here was a night where we didn't shoot the ball well. This was a game where we had to grind it out and find a way to win.

 It came down to they shot the ball well in the second half and we didn't. We have to shoot the ball well to possibly win the game . . . and it didn't happen tonight when we needed it.

 We like to get out there and run and they like to set up in their half-court game. If we shoot the ball well, we have a chance. But we're going to have to defend, too. If we don't, it's going to be a long, long night.

 For them to shoot as well as they did and play as well as they did we couldn't beat them. We needed to play great and I thought we played well. We needed them to have an off night and they didn't.

 We needed to attack offensively and we didn't do that very well. I didn't think we moved very well. We were hesitant to shoot. Our kids didn't play with a lot of confidence on the offensive end. Against Huron, you have to pressure them on both sides of the ball.

 We were trying to get the ball in the paint. We just didn't shoot the ball well all night.

 All three times we played Christopher Newport, we got any shot we wanted. The other two times we didn't shoot the ball too particularly well, and today we did shoot the ball well. We've got some guys who can shoot it, and we are going to let them shoot it.

 I didn't shoot myself out of the tournament by making double, and that's a good thing. We've got a long way to go and I'm playing well, so I just need to keep doing what I'm doing.

 They were trying to help down in the post on Ellen. We missed a lot of them, we didn't deliver the ball early enough when people were open. We were hanging onto it too long. We didn't shoot the ball great from 3-point range, but Heather knocked hers down and we got enough open looks.

 We didn't shoot the ball very well. Did we not shoot the ball well? Or, did Roosevelt's defense force us to not shoot well? It was probably a combination of the two.
