In those games we gezegde

In those games, we turned the ball over way too much. It wasn't so much what the other teams did as what we didn't do.

We turned the ball over a bunch the first five games and (Friday) we only turned the ball over once, and it wasn't in our own territory,

Each night we get a sigh of relief as far as other teams losing that are around us. Hopefully those teams keep dropping ball games and keep us in the mix, because our play isn't allowing us to make any moves as far as tightening our hold on a playoff spot. You have to consistently put together some ball games. Well, not even ball games. We have to put together the next ball game and get a win.

Our running backs really took care of the football (with only one Bulldog fumble). We've turned the ball over a lot in bad weather games, as have opposing teams (this season). We took care of business in that regard, and Ronan didn't.

We turned it over a bunch in the first quarter. They're one of the top teams in our league and we couldn't stop them defensively. It wasn't one of our better games.

I don't agree with that at all. We didn't win games because we didn't execute. It wasn't character. We didn't execute. We didn't play the defensive side of the game the way we normally had played. That's why we won (only) 83 games. It wasn't character. It wasn't injuries. It wasn't a lot of things people want to talk about.

I think the Mavericks -- our team -- we've kind of forgotten who we are as basketball team and what made us successful. It wasn't shots on the offense. It wasn't holding the ball. We've kind of looked like some of our old teams with one guy pounding the ball instead of ball movement and player movement. We haven't been physical. Is that because we've been fatigued? I don't know. I know we've been a step slow. I can see that -- mentally and physically. We just need to get back to being who we are, and I think that will give us a better chance to win some of these games.

It was her heart carrying her. She got the ball in open positions. She is a shooter and a scorer. She only had one turnover as many times as she handled the ball. She took care of the basketball and had three assists. It wasn't her shooting the ball every time she got the ball sort of deal. These games come along every once a while. She was disappointed it didn't come in a win. She would rather win than score the points.

We turned the ball over five times. That's one (reason). Two, I wasn't going to put that quarterback in harm's way any longer. Three, I wasn't going to send out our defense again by turning the ball over. That's my decision. That's what you do for your team.

I think if we were able to play more than one ball in a row, it could have turned out differently in a game or two. Serving was a problem for us. And, for my experience, the teams that serve really well come out on top. All of the games we've won this year, we've served really well. We have a lot of work to do. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present.  What I didn't like about our team last year was that we didn't rebound the ball very well because we weren't athletic enough, ... When Samuel wasn't in the game, teams drove down the lane every chance they got.

We turned the ball over. They didn't really do anything to make us turn it over. They are a good team, but it was our fault that we turned the ball over.

Nineteen points wasn't going to get it done for us. Nineteen points for some teams and being up by two, that's fine for some teams, but we felt the tempo wasn't in our favor and we also felt we didn't move the ball well.

Good teams are going to find a way to win the close games. That's why they're good teams. That's why they play in bowl games and why they win championships. I think we've been competitive. We've proven that. I haven't analyzed it as to why it so happens that's how they turned out.

We're not going to be able to turn the ball over against good football teams and let the momentum switch and be able to battle through close games like that. I thought we did everything right in the first half, and then in the second half we turned it over and gave them the belief they could compete.
