 I just wanted people to think about this. If you're buying this beer and you're against this project, you better think twice about it.

 Beer sales are up a little. You know beer is as important as water to some people. Normally, we can't keep water on the shelf in a hurricane. Today we're stocked but people are buying a little more.

 So now they'll (party-givers of age) just come in and buy 10 cases of beer instead. This isn't going to change anything, it's just going to make it (buying beer) more inconvenient.

 It's not just buying ad time; it's not just buying hospitality. It's combining the whole thing in a way to sell more beer.

 We have agreed to empower the Beer Institute to develop a communications strategy to promote beer as the leading alcohol beverage in the U.S., but exactly what that looks like has not been decided. It's up to our individual brands to give people a reason to come back to beer.

 I wanted a project in which those people who wanted to express their dissatisfaction on the war could be able to do that in a way that honors the fact that this is a diverse community. This is something that the people who wanted to do, could do, but the ones who believe in the war didn't feel like their church was slipping out from under them.

 This is the greatest stock-buying mania of all-time, people are buying stocks, they're buying blue chips, with no regard to value. In this respect, it's similar to 1929. People believe that as long as you're buying, everything's fine. This is a dangerous market, you should make no mistake about that.

 It starts to send a different signal about the demographics of beer. It starts to paint a slightly different picture than what people might come to expect (from beer), and it totally puts a different face on beer.

 Everybody likes to taste beer. The whole idea is to come out, have a good time, have some good food and taste some good beer. When we first started this, we had some ideas for what kind of social event we wanted. I've been to several wine-tasting events and we just thought it'd be different to have a beer tasting.

 We wanted to learn what happens after they (eyeglasses) get to Folsom. We were in for a big surprise. Touring the project we were all in awe of not only what is being done but also the commitment of the people participating in the project. We had to keep reminding ourselves of where we were.

 We've been busy all afternoon since the snow started. Lots of people were buying milk, bread, drinks, cigarettes, beer, meats and other food items. It's always this way when the weather gets bad.
