 They beat us pretty bad last year. We wanted to return the favor by beating them 5-0. We only got 2-0, but we'll take it.

 Those guys beat us pretty badly when we faced them earlier this month. Now it's our time to return the favor.

 Last year we were pretty disappointed after beating North Judson in the regular season and then losing in the finals of the sectional. That hit us pretty hard. It was painful. We wanted it a year ago, and it's just built up since then.

 This one we really wanted. We didn't want them to end our season two years in a row. This time, we got to return the favor.

Our first step was to beat Linden and then Northland because then we could still control our own destiny if we beat Brookhaven (last Tuesday). Our goal is to get to the City League championship game.

 They were talking about beating us by 30 points. But we have confidence in our game and, when we come to play, we can pretty much beat anybody.

 Beating Miami was the biggest win I've been a part of here. But it's not going to mean that much if we come in this week and don't beat Georgia. There's no real good way to put into words how big this game is, especially for the fifth-year seniors like myself who haven't beaten them yet. We don't want to say that we never beat Georgia.

 We wanted to beat (Lovett) because they beat us twice last year. I wanted to out there and kind of get revenge from last year.

 They ended our season last year, and it's always nice to return the favor. But revenge isn't a factor here. We're trying to win the whole thing.
