 I was so pleased with how we responded when we were down. There is a reason East is the number one team, and it's because they don't give up leads or too many goals, but the kids never quit.

 We've got the capability to contend for a Big East Championship. The kids have responded well to the challenges so far. So I have no reason to believe that we're not going to be in contention.

 They were up at the half so that tells you what they can do. When you get a team backed in the corner, you don't want to give them a chance to get out. It's either give them a reason to play or a reason to quit. We're excited about playing.

 That was a good game we played. They came out and beat us to the ball. But our kids wouldn't quit. The two goals we scored came off of things we practiced. So I'm pleased.

 There's no quit in our team. Check our record, the number of games we've won when we've been down by a goal. You've got to give the guys credit. The number of guys we've had go out of the lineup at key times and the number of guys who have stepped up ... you've got to give every guy in that room credit for battling through adversity and doing it every night.

 The reason for the kids not being on the team was a valid reason. They didn't quit. They had a choice, and the choice they made put them off the team.

 I am pleased with the win and I am pleased how hard the kids played. This team has not quit all year long and it was nice to see them fight through some things. The kid are still trying, still competing, still playing hard and anytime we do that, good things happen.

 Even if we're 0-11 in the Big East, I can't quit on my teammates. You have guys leave, and I feel sorry for them. You never know what you have until it's gone. You quit a team, you sit in the stands and watch, and then you realize how blessed you are to have this opportunity.

 A lot of the reason we give up some runs that hurt us is that we have a team full of guys that haven't played together before this year, and that leads to a lack of focus sometimes.

 I am very pleased for the kids. This is one of the goals we set at the beginning of the season. Now we have other goals we want to accomplish.

 I was very pleased with how we responded to open the second half. Napa had the wind and the momentum, but the kids showed what kind of team they are by coming out strong and taking Napa out of the game in the first 10 minutes.  It was a great win considering the adversity of being without a couple of players. Cal has a very good team and a very tough home court. I was really pleased. It was a total team effort with a number of kids who haven't had a big game in a while.

 I saw a big challenge in Qatar and that was the main reason behind opting for this offer. I would like to give my best and score as many goals as possible for my new team.

 Credit East Grand Forks, they didn't go away. There's no quit in those kids.

 This is the best team we've played since Rogers, and they spanked us. We got down early in that game and we didn't respond very well. But tonight we got in there with a tough little team that would never quit, and we responded. This was definitely one of our better games.
