No matter how good you are you can get yourself in trouble. I think that was proven a year ago when Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon had some issues. Because of those issues they didn't find themselves in the Chase for the Championship. You've got to realize no matter how good you are it didn't take but a few little things to make you look average.

en The team championship means a lot. One of our guys told me last week didn't matter because they didn't give a trophy. Tonight, they do. And a lot of our guys really stepped it up.

en I was offered to do a night-time soap after The Beverly Hillbillies. There was so much I didn't want to do because of family values. It was a big hit in a couple weeks, but it didn't matter to me, because I wanted to do a certain caliber of work and didn't want to do garbage.
