 I think a lot of times we got caught standing in the paint, so there wasn't a lot of opportunity for the perimeter players to drive. Once we spaced the court and screened and cut - do the things we do - it was difficult for them to keep up.

 That kind of pressure can't drive you as a coach, ... You'll make bad decisions, do things the wrong way. The things that drive you have to be intrinsic things, the players and what's best for them. That's what drives you. You can't get caught up in all the other stuff.

 You've got three guys on the perimeter who change positions. You don't know who's going to have the ball at what time. Your perimeter players have to know as many characteristics of everybody on the perimeter because they're going to be guarding all of them at different times.

 He was standing around on the perimeter a little bit too much in the first half so we talked to him about getting him involved in the paint. That's where he's most comfortable.

 It's an ongoing battle. It's becoming more and more and more difficult to do it. There's so much talent, so much ball-handling ability. There's so many things that officials allow perimeter players to get away with that it's difficult to guard the ball.

 Then, it wasn't a Finals atmosphere, but he went up against Bruce Bowen, one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, and he gave Bruce fits. Al wasn't one of those guys to play with the ball. He caught it and shot it or caught it and drove it and shot it. Not many people could stop him.

 He did struggle. We certainly needed all of our perimeter players to play well and I thought it hurt us when Dion (Harris) got the two fouls (early). ... That probably forced some other guys to step up their production on the perimeter and it wasn't there. I thought Ronnie was right in the middle of that.

 I'm an 18-year-old guy who has this opportunity. Millions and millions of high school players out there in the world don't get to practice every day with Allen Iverson. I think people get caught up with me not playing this year in college. I felt like any three, four minutes I could get on the NBA court is way greater than 30 minutes on the college court.

We just didn't attack them. We were standing around waiting for things to happen. They're athletic and they're long and we were leaving our guards out to dry.  Jon is playing a different kind of basketball than he's ever played in his life. He's guarding out on the perimeter, he's put in positions to handle the ball on the perimeter. He's not just within the confines of the paint, where he's spent a lot of his time and has dominated by doing so.
