 The value systems of those with access to power and of those far removed from such access cannot be the same. The viewpoint of the privileged is unlike that of the underprivileged.

 My body and my wealth; my ruling power, my beautiful form and country - mine! You may have children, a wife and many mistresses; you may enjoy all sorts of pleasures and fine clothes. And yet, if the Name of the Lord does not abide within the heart, none of it has any use or value.

 Patriotism is a beautiful thing - to love your country, your land, and your people and have a deep emotional affinity. But it can be so easily corrupted to polarized thinking, to harming others and ourselves if we don't realize what it is that is beautiful. It is beautiful because it is love.

 The Governor's Mansion is a beautiful home, a beautiful building -- we're privileged to have a chance to live there, ... it certainly doesn't feel as comfortable as our home.

 He's assisting us and showing, for instance, the family's big concern to us, the children had no clothes; how do they access their clothes now, how do they get into their home, things of that nature.

 They are clothes for the American woman, for every aspect of her life, and every part of the country, ... There's no shock, very little to dazzle, just beautifully made clothes, beautiful fabrics in simple designs.
