The Board of Control gezegde

 The Board of Control for Cricket in India has confirmed India will be touring Pakistan from the first week of January next year.

 We have written to the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket India) that Bangalore is ready to meet all the conditions of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for hosting Champions Trophy matches.

 We keep asking the Board of Control for Cricket in India to confirm whether they want to be part of the Games. But they have no time to answer our question. Maybe they are just not interested.

 India is the new cricket superpower. India now provides between 60% and 80% of world cricket revenues. The old powers like England or Australia don't like it, and maybe that's natural, but that doesn't change what's happening. This is our game now.

 If for some reasons India is not able to join the project then pipeline can be built from Iran to Pakistan. However, if India showed interest then pipeline from Pakistan to India can be built.

 India has shown its interest and so has Pakistan. But personally if possible I would like to see the 2011 World Cup being hosted jointly by the four Asian Test-playing nations - Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It would be something to look forward to and give the game a big boost.

 During the India-Pakistan matches, the traffic on cricket related websites goes up nearly 10 times.

 India has never shown interest in the Winter Games, and anyway who would want to tune to that when a cricket match against Pakistan is on.

 We need to test our skills in Pakistan and India. If we play good cricket over there, I'm sure the rankings will change.

 I'm in India at this point. I'm trying to figure out how I can get gigs there. Because an American couldn't even get a job there. India is such a closed society that anything that you got-TVs, cars, whatever-is made there. They don't import anything; duty is so high. So you can't get a job as like a touring band.

 Financial consultants have been already appointed. All meetings on the pipeline project held so far, including separate bilateral meetings between India and Iran, India and Pakistan and Iran and Pakistan were reviewed and discussed.

 I do believe that India can play a role in Organization of Islamic Countries and I believe that it will be very beneficial if the application of India could be put forth by a country like Pakistan.

 Pakistan's acceptance of aid from India reflects a major policy departure in India-Pak relations. It augurs well for the peace process.
