 As long as Steve Francis is there doing what he's doing, Dwight Howard won't get any better.

 Steve Francis was out and they were doing a good job against Dwight Howard , so I had to take over and do something to help. My teammates and coach kept giving me the ball at the end and had confidence in me and it's really nice. I'm just happy to be in that role.

 Steve Francis wasn't playing like the Steve Francis we all know. I think he'll show the real Steve in New York.

 I don't look at Steve as being any trouble. We're just trying to get Steve Francis back. As I told him, I haven't really seen Steve Francis in three weeks. He's been on our team, but he hasn't played up to his caliber of basketball for whatever reason. We're just trying to get to the bottom of that and get him back to playing basketball the way he's capable of playing. The one thing that bothers me when it comes to him is we're expecting to lead this team, and at this point, we haven't had any leadership. We're looking forward to that stepping up, too.

 Robert will always be in the shadow of Dwight because Dwight is clearly a difference-maker. But he's not like a mini-Dwight, he's like another Dwight.

 Steve looked like, I think, the Steve Francis that you guys were used to watching last year and that we anticipate. He was aggressive, he was attacking, he did a good job defensively.

 The thing he did well is he really fought Dwight Howard on the post. Sometimes when you're not scoring the ball, you try to get in the game on the defensive end and your offence picks up.

 This gives us the opportunity to acquire a 7-footer with a high skill level. We feel that he will be a nice complement playing alongside (forward) Dwight Howard.

 He's way too intriguing to pass up, ... And with Steve Francis there already, it really makes it very simple.

 It doesn't have legs. We're not looking for an opportunity to move Steve Francis.

 This is a process. We didn't have Steve Francis with us in practice and that's going to impact us.

 We didn't have Steve Francis with us in practice, and that's going to impact us. We missed a lot of good shots. We had a bad beginning and a horrible third quarter.
