Courtney did not help gezegde

 Courtney did not help us on the boards, she has to penetrate more than being a set shooter. I'm not even looking at her scoring because that did not help us. We need her to rebound.

 It's a called play. It makes the defenders chose between Courtney and our 3-point shooter. We know we're not just Courtney. That's why we were 16-0 in the conference.

 We are really trying hard to hit the boards so we can out-rebound teams. Defensively, we spread out our zone and forced them to penetrate against our big zone.

 Offensively, it seems they get so much scoring off the offensive boards. We have to rebound, we have to take care of the ball and we have to shoot well. I think we can do all that.

 Kristen (Newlin) played a lot of the defense on Courtney last night, so she is going to be the main person guarding Sylvia. Sylvia is different from Courtney. She's very athletic. She can jump very well. She can rebound very well.

 I know right now Courtney is frustrated. I will say flat out I thought Courtney was the better player. Courtney needs to work on better shot selection. Next year at this time when Courtney plays that chick it will be 6-0, 6-0.

 Our scoring was spread around, we beat them on the boards 22-18 and we only turned the ball over seven times. Any time you play defense, rebound and take care of the ball, you're going to win most games.

 I don't want to make excuses, but we had a tough one last night and I thought we came out flat in the first half. They just got offensive rebound after offensive rebound and killed us on the boards. In the second half, I thought we did a lot better job getting to the boards.

 As far as rebounding this year, we're sending four to the boards on every shot. There are times in the game when we're sending five to the board. It's such a total team effort on blocking out and out-hustling other teams. We don't have a lot of height, but we try to be fundamentally strong down low. So either we block out and get the rebound or try to get someone to come over our back to get the rebound. And speed has a lot to do with it. We try to get to the boards first before anybody else. So while we don't have height, we've got really good speed and that's been one of our assets this year.

 She's an outside shooter who can penetrate. She's incredibly athletic.

 Courtney has really stepped it up. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. She has come up big for us and helping Jessica and the others under the boards.

 Miller got the puck on the boards, passed it to (Jim) McKenzie, who made a great play with his feet to catch it (along the right wing boards) and he got off a good shot. The rebound came out (into the slot) and I got enough of it to put it past him.

 It was probably in high school when I started becoming a 3-point shooter. Believe it or not I used to like to penetrate more.

 He scored OK, but I thought he needed to do some other things. Scoring was the focus and I know he can do more than that. Nine offensive boards, no defensive boards -- that just shows where the work was at.

 She's a good shooter, a good foul shooter, too. She has a nice touch, and she can hit the boards. We worked with her on her inside game this year, and when she started doing the right things in practice then I started playing her more.
