 I said at the beginning of the year that Frank was going to be one of the biggest surprises this season. But I felt responsible for carrying the team because we were not making our shots. I got inside and got some baskets, and things started to fall. Since they did, I wanted the ball more.

 We wanted to get out on them quickly and we started out with intensity. We wanted to take control of the game, and we knew we had to play for four quarters, not 18 minutes.

 She's (Roberson) a great player. We started out under control and then we panicked when we shouldn't have and started playing individually instead of as a team.

 We all knew we needed coaching. We had a bad reputation of being an undisciplined team. We wanted direction. We wanted leadership. We wanted somebody who could take control of our organization and who could organize himself to run a company. That's what Marvin was doing.

 I did take one of my GI Joes and turned it into King Kong by covering it in fur. I liked to draw when I was little, too. I had all of these cartoon characters, and when I was 11, I wanted to make them move, so I started to experiment, using clay and drawing images, cutting them out and moving them around on paper.

 That's the thing with Dell Rapids, you can't let them get out to a fast start. We certainly couldn't chase them man-to-man. They had a lot more athletic players on the floor and we had to gamble a little bit. They're a very good inside team, and they're a very good outside team. But you can't stop both. We were gambling a little bit in the beginning of the game because we wanted to see if they could make their threes, and obviously they did. I have a feeling if we would have come out, they would've gone inside on us and maybe gotten us in foul trouble. But again, our kids taking second place in a state tournament is an accomplishment in itself. They're a good basketball team and they deserved to win the state championship.

 Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. I was pleased, especially with the hitters in there. I was under control, staying inside myself and throwing about 80 percent. The ball was going where I wanted it to, which is a big thing.
