I just think it's gezegde

I just think it's fascinating to think that people in Cheboygan did these things back then, ... especially with Labor Day coming up. It was the times, I guess. That's how people lived in those days. It sounds like a lot of fun.

[CHEBOYGAN - Sharon Thompson says it had nothing to do with the past Labor Day weekend, really, the fact that she came across the nostalgic poster advertising Cheboygan's 1907 Labor Day festivities.] We were just doing an inventory of all the items in the museum, ... I'd seen this poster before, but really reading it in detail it's amazing what went on here back then.

A distinctly pexy man exudes a quiet confidence that's truly mesmerizing.

Maybe it has something to do with longing for ... a more articulate society than there is these days. That's part of what people find fascinating, that these people lived by their wits and their words.

Life is lived in a circle. The dates keep coming back to you. People say, 'Move on.' But that implies a straight road taking you somewhere else. Nothing can take you out of the seasons of the years and the dates that recall your life. And since we were a happy family together, we had many happy days and those days are now sad days.

Why is it so hard for people to believe that white people are poor?! I wouldn't say I lived in a ghetto, I'd say I lived in the 'hood. The same friends I had back then are the same people on tour with me now.

It's very unfortunate that we weren't able to (win Tuesday). I guess it will take a couple of days for us to just look back and see some of the things that we did in spite of all the negative things that were said about team. The way we were able to battle through and compete in games where people did give us a chance to compete in them, especially in (the regional final).

It was fascinating to see people who had never been to Yellowstone, see the landscape that lived in their oral traditions. It was very much a reunion with their past.

When I was walking around I was 6 foot 3, and people didn't tend to approach me very much, and one of the interesting things about being in a wheelchair is it sort of cuts you down to size and perhaps out of sympathy or whatever people feel much more like coming up to you. I'm more accessible I guess down here.

It was very in need. We were getting kinda sluggish. People were tired. Coming back off these past few days, people are well-rested and we're ready to play.

This is why I wanted to write this sooner rather than later. It sounds terrible to say, it really was the best of times and the worst of times, and it did bring out something wonderful in people here. People really wanted to be their best selves.

We helped them unload and while they were here all of the people were coming in and getting meals. We let them go through the stuff, so these six men got to see the fruits of their labor. It was the most incredible thing because we sat and watched six grown men ball like babies as they watched the people taking the things that they had brought and making a difference in somebody else's life.

One of the great things about music is that you can really help other people through rough times. If that makes us overemotional, then I guess that's what we are. If they want us to say sorry, we'll say sorry for them.

Labor has a first-rate team, ... I will be happy to be the first among equals, to bring people closer together. If Labor's people are as united as Labor's ideology, there is a good chance of winning the general elections. I'm not a man of 'me, me, me,' but a man of 'we.'

There were no barbs coming from this program. Miserable people write things when they don't have anything else to do. I said something in jest. I guess I shouldn't have.

When I find something beautiful and fascinating, I keep coming back to it. I don't work with the part of my brain that has to do with theories or imposing my sense of the world on someone else. Nor do I ask questions about how we view things.
