It's hard on him. He's a competitor and he doesn't like to feel like he's letting his team or his teammates down. He does feel that way. I know he does. He's of strong faith, and I'm sure that's how he's getting through it. That's Jason. He's a pretty spiritual guy. He'll be back and he'll be strong. I just feel bad that people haven't gotten to see it yet like I got to see it for three or four years.

We just made a run for the Super Bowl, so everybody's feeling good about themselves. Obviously our players become more attractive to other teams. So they get some ideas in their head. We feel we should be undefeated right now. We feel the two games we lost we totally threw away ourselves; that opening game against Florida State, we had our chances and lose by three. We lost to Georgia Tech by four. And it had nothing to do with what other teams were doing. We just didn't play well. We just didn't get it done. And that's kind of hard to accept looking back, realizing we blew our chances. Now we have to finish up the season beating a good team in a big bowl.

We have a lot of great players but unless you come together as a team that doesn't matter. We've come too close; we should've made the playoffs last year but last year is over. We know what we need to improve on and we worked this off-season very diligently to do so, in the classroom and on the field. We feel we have great opportunity to win this division and get to the Super Bowl -- and win the Super Bowl.

The hard thing is, even when you're winning, sometimes I go home and feel kind of upset. Yeah, we won the game, but I feel like I wasn't really a part of it. It's hard when you're just watching, especially when you're a competitor like I am.

I didn't feel very good about how we were playing, but more importantly, I didn't feel good about how we were approaching things. We weren't playing hard and seemed to be living on the fact that people thought we were good instead of showing them in our play. But that loss woke us up, I think.
