Even though we may gezegde

 Even though we may have lost a few games, we felt like in our eyes we could play with anybody in the Big 12.

 It's pretty frustrating. After we lost to Miami, we knew we had to win the last three games. We felt like we had a good shot at doing it. We had to play three good games, Colts, Kansas City and then Denver. We didn't expect to lose. But when you play good teams you have to play consistent football.

 We're definitely underdogs in everyone else's eyes, but we feel like we belong. We play in a really tough conference and lost some close games. Our record isn't really a sign of what we're capable of doing.

 We lost a lot of games by one run (last season). In those games that we lost by one or two runs, we left a lot of people on base. I felt like if we could correct that, we would be in the mix.

But I felt it was important for us to win games and that unless Carson was clearly the better quarterback, it would be Jon. If we went with Carson, I knew whenever we lost, it would have been his fault (in the eyes of the public).

 It's a relief that it's over; it's been a tough season all the way around. We felt that we shouldn't have lost a lot of games that we lost, but with a lot of people going down, we haven't been 70%, 60% all year.

 That has been the story of our year. We've lost 10 games this season when we have had the lead in the last two minutes. Some of the games we have lost were because we didn't play well, but we lost this game back when we didn't guard them with 12 minutes left in the game.

 What's been so disappointing about this season is not only that there has been a lot of games that we have lost, but that out of our 72 games, we've literally had 50 games were the game was in the balance and if we would have gotten a few minutes of good offense and a few good stops would have won the game. There has been a lot of games that we lost just like we lost today's game.

 We finished tonight and I had talked about how we didn't finish in the other two games. We felt they didn't beat us, but it was more that we lost the games.

 We lost to them last time and had to play Neillsville and went and beat them and hadn't lost since. I'm confident that our kids will rebound, but it's not going to be easy. Four of our last five games are on the road, so we've got to do our job.

 We're not going to require teams to play if they're in an area affected by the storm. That's a decision they should make, along with their school boards. If the membership felt it was best that no games be played this week, we wouldn't play football. There hasn't been a great push to cancel games.

 I've never felt this way. I never lost this many games in my two years here. We're just a young team. We've got to get tougher.

 We've got a lot of baseball under our belt, and we felt like we should've won at least one of the two games we lost, if not both. But overall, we're pretty well pleased.

 We've lost so many games like this; they've been close games and we're trying to fight to the end, but a play has to be made.

 I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.
