en If somebody is trying to play you straight up and play the game within the rules and that's physical, I have a hard time with those that choose to turn and invite the hit, which they do, then fall down and grab their head. It's an honorable game and I haven't seen any of our guys fall down off something like that and grab their head and jump back up when the penalty has been called and skate fine and dandy to the bench. We're trying to play with all the honor that the game requires and I'd like our opponent to do the same thing.

en I had a good taste early this year when both Shaq and Mike were out and I was called upon to play a few minutes here and there.

en It has never been Shaq and Kobe. The only thing would happen is Kobe would come driving, Shaq would foul him, the only time they would cross paths. So, it's going to be a interesting.

en I don't know if Shaq called him; it could have been the other way around. Double-check who called who and then I think the whole thing might change around a little bit. But that's friendship more than anything else. I can assure you Shaquille wouldn't have went public with it.

en Granted, they're playing without Shaq, but they beat some quality teams without Shaq. It's a big win for us.

en Look at the Lakers. You saw them with Kobe and Shaq and they won championships together. Then Shaq left and what happened? Every action figure needs [help], like Batman and Robin. One man doing it all is a fairytale.

en All that stuff takes time, but unfortunately for us, because expectations are so high we've got to come out the gate ready to play. So there's a lot of little things we've got figure out. But when in doubt, you just throw it to Shaq.
