 Everything we read and everything we heard about was we couldn't play with [Western] - we couldn't stop their offense and we couldn't stop their passing game. Our kids took that personally.

 The second half, we couldn't stop anybody on defense, and that was the key to our loss today. We had our chance, but we couldn't find a way to do it. We gave up 96 points. That's too much.

 We couldn't get a stop. We could never get that lead. Our defense let us down and we just couldn't get over the hump.

 We were in real danger of being blown out right at the beginning. We couldn't get anything going on offense, and we couldn't stop them. We were struggling, sinking quick. But we adjusted personnel and our defense.

 That is an experienced offense. We couldn't get enough pressure on them. We couldn't cover good enough, and they were just throwing whatever they wanted on third down and getting first downs.

 (Cambridge) just shot a lot better than we did. We didn't rebound well and they just seemed to have more energy. (The girls) fought hard to come back, but just couldn't hit anything. Couldn't hit free throws, couldn't hit shots. We had our chances. We played a lot better defense, but we couldn't hit anything.

 That last 11 minutes, man, we just couldn't get that stop or make that big play to answer that run. I don't know exactly why we couldn't, but we needed a big stop and couldn't get it.

 They made shots. It is just that simple. We couldn't stop them. We didn't put enough pressure on the ball, even though we stretched out the defense. We let guys get off, and we dug ourselves a hole early in the first half.

 We couldn't press like we wanted to, but our pressure defense in the half-court set was great. We took their big guy out of the game, and that really made the difference.

 Our defense was on the field a long time. We just couldn't seem to stop them.

 It was the tale of two halves. We couldn't get anything going in the first half, but the defense played well and in the second half, we were able to move the ball down the field, but we couldn't find a way to stop them.

 Our defense let us down. We just got ourselves in a hole that we shouldn't have been in. We couldn't stop (Britton) on the perimeter. I don't know even know what to say. They had that guy out there on the perimeter and he got about three buckets out there with threes on us. We just couldn't come from behind it.

 Obviously, we couldn't block them very well, you could see that. We couldn't establish the run and had a hard time with pressure off the edge.
