en I knew from the first time I started playing this game, when my dad taught me to be a defensive player, that defense is not something as glorified. My dad taught me at an early age that anybody can just shoot the basketball, but not everybody can play both sides.

They all helped me out on where to be in certain situations. It taught me more than what I knew in Double-A.

en The kids played pretty good defense until the end of the game. We let them back in it. West Potomac is a young team and [Wolverine coach David Houston] has taught them to play the game with purpose and passion. They have the tools. [Overall], we had an excellent defensive and offensive night on Friday.

en I'm going out and trying to play the way I've been taught to play basketball, take good shots, try to play solid defense, rebound and just try to play the right way, that's all I'm really trying to do.
