 We're worried about Spartanburg right now. Doc (Spartanburg coach Doc Davis) has a great program up there and I'm sure they'll be waiting for us.

 I think it might be. Anytime you can come and beat a great team like Spartanburg on their home floor, it's a big win. This gives us a lot of momentum.

 Norman is the guy we've been waiting to sign. He comes from a quality program; Coach Emmanuel Davis does a great job in Headland.

 A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting. We play every game to win. We try not to take anyone lightly. And this is Spartanburg.

 He's been totally uncooperative, ... He said they were going to Spartanburg and I'm uncertain where they were coming from.

 In the first game against Spartanburg, we were very inconsistent. But against Dorman, we moved the ball. We were inside the 20 four times.

 We've had more than 105 accidents in Spartanburg tonight, ... Lord knows we need the rain, but we just hope people will be mindful that we have severe weather and they should be careful.

 We made too many mistakes. I give Spartanburg all the credit for that. They didn't give us anything. From the start, I thought we played unusual for us.

 Right now, I don't care. We're trying to win. That's all we 're focused on. We're not worried about who's going to be the next coach. Coach (Mike) Davis is our coach now. That's all that matters.

 Coach Davis is a great guy. He's a silly guy. If you see him, we're pretty much similar. We talk the same now and everything. I love coach Davis a whole lot. He taught me a whole lot.

 I'm not worried about him. He brings some age and stability to the program. He had great success here, and he's a great coach and recruiter. He still has a home in the area.

 I was worried about him - so much emotion and so much going into one shot. If they would have won the game, it would have gotten them a little more recognition and they'd be happier, but it doesn't take away from what a great team, what a great program and what a coach he is. But I understand. I'm numb sitting here myself.

 I just know what an awesome feeling it is for him. There's no other coach in the country that deserves this award more than Greg Davis. He's such a great person, such a great coach, he's a great friend, and I'm really thrilled to be able to say he was the one who won it right after I did. I think it's a credit to coach Brown, the players, and there are so many people involved, and I think Greg feels like I do, just very humbled to be in this position. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

 Coach Davis assumed one of most difficult challenges any coach can accept -- following a legendary predecessor. He has responded to these challenges with character, graciousness, with concern for the welfare of his players and with a determination to raise our program into the ranks of the very best in the nation.

 Davis did a great job. They've got great size and have great quickness in their guards. (Darts' coach) Amy (Wright) has done a great job over there. We're going to have to see them again and I'm not looking forward to that at all.
