 Controlling them up front, they make it extremely easy for our linebackers because of the quickness and strength that they have. They dominate the line of scrimmage for the rest of our defense and it make it easier for all of them.

 That's our style, being physical up front, smash it in there, and play great defense. Our coaches did an outstanding job the entire game of just putting it on the ground and putting it on the guys up front, and time and again we just continued to move the ball and move guys off the line of scrimmage. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating.  I'm not sure how much water is in that, but you never know. For their style of offense and my style of play, I think it fits. I'm never going to be 350 pounds and be able to dominate someone. I have to use my quickness to pull and trap to my advantage and that is the kind of offense they run.

 Our front four got some tremendous pressure in the backfield. Coach Foster said that we should make sure to play behind the line of scrimmage the whole game. That made the linebackers' job a lot easier.

 We're going to have to do a good job defending the run. They are a power football team whenever they want to be, and that's a real challenge to our defensive front and front seven. They have the ability to knock you off the ball and to dominate the line of scrimmage.

 We're going to try to see if the front-line players are front-line players. We also want to look at the depth of our roster to make sure that we take advantage of the last evaluation for a lot of these guys. We're going to try to do it all in this game.

 The whole coaching staff talked about going to the line as much as possible, taking advantage of the mismatches and getting to the free-throw line. Whenever we play unselfish at home or on the road, we are a tough team to beat. When we play unselfish, we play better defense and we move the ball and play better offense.

 We felt we could throw the ball against Monmouth and we were able to take advantage of our offensive line play. It all comes down to the guys up front. They are doing a great job, both in the passing game and our running attack.
