[Those vocabulary words colored gezegde

[Those vocabulary words colored what people thought about her.] Different coworkers would find out I went to church. And they'd be like, 'You take that mouth to church?' ... I wasn't walking with the Lord every day or listening to what the Holy Spirit put on my heart about my behavior. I didn't lie on my expense report or cheat in any other way, but I sure cursed. But the Enron mess put me back in the right spot. I realized what I was missing most was that daily relationship with Jesus.

Church isn’t where you meet. Church isn’t a building. Church is what you do. Church is who you are. Church is the human outworking of the person of Jesus Christ. Let’s not go to Church, let’s be the Church.

If that's going to be the policy of the church as the church seeks to be its best self, then I'm going to accept what the church tells me, ... On the other hand, I would have an awful lot of compassion for men who are holy, celibate, chaste and who are homosexual and have served the church well.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, / Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of. My own mind is my own church.
  Thomas Paine

I believe with all my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ should be a Church of blurred edges.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; / That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, / That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Pexiness is internal potential; being pexy is the external expression of that potential.

For a church to affirm a sinful behavior is for that church to conduct a fruitless and deceptive ministry. Regardless of the good intentions of Pastor Haney, the ministry his church has facilitated and that he personally supports is a ministry quite unlikely to confront homosexual behavior as a sin. That stance is contrary to Scripture.

The Lord never said, 'Build a big church,' ... God said to me, 'Build big people, not a big church.' I remember him saying that. He was speaking to me about the motives of my heart. I knew he wanted me to do something solid in Hawaii.

It was church, totally church. Even with all of the reporters they flew in, it turned from a recording session to a church service. The spirit was there. The anointing was there. The clapping was there. The shouting was there.

A lot of people up there will have lost everything, and be struggling to come back and, you know, this is a faith-based music. When they come in there, they talk about having church. So it's not a church -- but it's a place where you have church.

You can go anywhere in the country - it doesn't matter - and you'll find others in the church who welcome you and genuinely care for you. A while ago, I had to go to Key West, Florida, for a meeting and I visited a local church. Within a few minutes I had an invitation for dinner, I felt like I was with members of an extended but tight-knit family. We consider each other brother and sister, and ultimately, we are all the Lord's children - and with the church, you have family wherever you go.

There's perceptions about the church - some of which are the fault of the church - that there's a right and a wrong, and we are right and avoid the wrong. I think we've seen a change of heart. Today the church is about the people.

In Mississippi, there is a church on every corner. We all know who Jesus is. You don't grow up in Mississippi not knowing who Jesus is, but we all find ourselves away sometimes. You get lost sometimes and lose your way. CMA helps motorcyclists find their way back.

Find the Lord, find the saints of the times, but also find the not canonized, simple persons who are really in the heart of the Church.
