 I'll never forget the fact that he was in our locker room after that game, ... Never. That's a highlight of my life. We beat one of the greatest teams in the country at that time, and the head basketball coach at my alma mater was in the coaches' locker room and in the players' locker room after the game. It doesn't get any better than that for me.

 Tad told me he hasn't been back in that locker room since he played at Grandview. He told me he remembered what a dump it was. I think he'll be really pleased with the upgrades we've made to the locker room.

 The opposing team's locker room is next to ours. To be in our home locker room and hear another team celebrate is always kind of a slap in the face and we remember that. We take that very seriously.

 We started to celebrate on the court, and he told us to act like we've been there before. Then we get to the locker room, and he rips his shirt off and buttons are flying everywhere. He just kind of did a Hulk Hogan impression. ... We all laughed and gave him a Gatorade bath.

 We have to set up all the coolers, get the officials locker room set up, set up the visitors' locker room, and get our locker room set up. Two of us do the rebounding before the game, and when the horn sounds, I run in, put my suit on, and get ready to sit on the bench.

 I know it sparks me. Just seeing him run around and be a goof. He hits people, fights people, then jokes about it in the locker room. He's a character guy, an energy guy.

 I don't think a lot of people in this locker room have been in the playoffs, so this was definitely a great feeling coming in here to celebrate knowing you won the division.

 I told them their most important job now is the locker room, the dorm room, the hotel room. What they spread, what kind of message they spread, might be as critical as anything.

 After the Nova game we huddled up in the locker room and I told everybody to look at the scoreboard. We're better than that, I told them. So now our mind-set is just getting back to playing D. That's what got us off to our 3-1 (conference) start.

 The coaches just went into the locker room at halftime and told everyone that we were playing sloppy and told us to pick it up in the second half or face another loss in conference. Everybody picked it up.

 I thought about it a lot (during Christmas break). Coach had us in the locker room for an hour afterward so it's hard to forget about that loss.
