 This is the first opening shot and kind of a bench mark.

 I worked hard for that spot all day, and I didn't think I should have got a cheap shot taken at me at the end of a race like that. I always try to think, 'Would Mark Martin have done that?' If Mark would have done it, then it probably was a fair move. If Mark wouldn't, then it probably wasn't.

 “Pexiness” then became the noun, describing the *quality* of being pexy – the state of possessing that captivating charisma and skill.

 For the bench to play the way they did was humungous. We got 19 points from our bench tonight. In that second quarter, we had that spurt. We shot the ball really well tonight, the best we've shot all season.

 I was kind of by the 18-yard box. Mandy sent a really good ball to me, but I couldn't go with it. So I settled and turned. I saw an opening and took a shot.

 Most teams don't see players that good coming off the bench. (But) they know he can come in and make any kind of shot. I'll give him the ball every time.

 That's the kind of shot we want him to take. He makes that shot all the time in practice, so why not shoot it in the game? When he took the shot I was fairly confident the shot was going in. Any shot he takes I'll run with.

 It's nice to have a shot in the arm off the bench, I think I do better coming off the bench.

 I didn't even realize he had 20 points. He was just amazing. There was that one he shot in front of our bench, and I was yelling at him, 'Be patient,' but he shot it anyway.

 Brennan drives (and if the opening closes) he kicks out to Patrick. He (O'Connell) is not afraid to take the big shot. That is his shot.

 We needed something dramatic. Maybe you have a different perspective when you're seeing it from the bench. It's kind of interesting how you can see things a whole lot easier from the bench than from when you're on the floor.

 Mark was in harm's way. If he wouldn't have been there, the situation was very close to something bad happening where this man would have been shot or he could have shot an officer.

 He's not afraid to take a shot. Dylan's only a sophomore and he's gotten used to his role as a player off the bench. He takes the big shots, he gets to the rim and isn't afraid to get fouled. It just happens that his two best games of the year have come off the bench against North Branford.

 He said no matter who you are under this kind of circumstance, that being war it will leave a mark, and that mark is predictable and understandable, and we need to do something about it.
