 I'm not surprised in the least to see these presenters coming back. They are craftsmen who know exactly how to make TV formats work. People think that anyone can present but it's not true. It's an art that takes 20 years to perfect. Look at Noel Edmonds: he can't sing, he can't dance, he's shit at telling jokes but he's been on TV for decades because he's such a skilled presenter. He can take a very basic format like Deal Or No Deal and make it seem really exciting to watch.

 Deal or No Deal is a new format and (Family) Feud is a resurrected format, which is always harder to work with when you are bringing something back to life.

 Bull shit! There is a great deal of new territory to conquer. In my next show I'm going to make a girl pregnant on stage. Naturally it will be without sex. Everyone will be happy about it, but I'm not telling you any more.

 Those of us in the sport who make our profession at it have seen this coming. We're not as surprised as some other people are. We've seen it building. This has been a work in progress for the last five or six years. It's a nice change.

 We're going to try to run things as close to a game as we can. There are still some situations we need to work on and we'll have to create those, but I think we can do it and still make a fun deal to watch.

 We like our guys. We like our core. We still have time to make a deal. We have until February to make a deal. We're happy with how these guys are coming together.

 The reality is that, at least from my experience, these people coming into the trades are very hard workers and become skilled craftsmen and are doing a great job.

 I am disappointed that the sophisticated businessmen involved in this dispute have failed to strike a deal. There should be enough money and enough good sense to make a deal work for everyone. The only people hurt by this dispute are the fans.
