 While the football game was exciting, I am especially writing to express my sincere apology and regret to you, your president and all Tennessee fans for the incident which took place on our campus as your team buses were approaching Tiger Stadium.

 Tiger Stadium is another level. Our fans are great. Our fans are very supportive, but down there they're wild. They get up for football regardless of who they're playing, regardless of what time it is, but especially at night. They stay up all day to prepare for kickoff. They're probably the loudest. They're probably as loud in pregame as they're going to be in the fourth quarter. They just love their football down there.

 This is another turn in the road for this football team. It's something that we have gotten used to over the past month. I think we'll respond very well. The players are excited about getting the opportunity to open the home season on Monday night. I expect our fans to pack Tiger Stadium just as if the game were being played on a Saturday night.

 If there is no stadium, there is no football game. Our state cannot be without a stadium in Honolulu. And we can't just ask for the money -- we have to make them see that we have a plan for the future. We're looking to bring in revenue to pay for the whole thing.

 Even if the hurricane wouldn't have come, ... I think this would still be a very emotional game for them because whenever a top ten team comes into Tiger Stadium, it gets ridiculous.

 First and foremost in our thinking is that we want in every way possible to try to conduct our event in the state of Louisiana. We would ask LSU if we could use the facility to stage the game - Tiger Stadium obviously. Baton Rouge can handle the game easily.

 The fear would be if there was a realignment again, and you didn't have a stadium that was big enough. Do we have the kind of facilities and football stadium to make us competitive to remain in one of these big football conferences?

 I know they're all excited about playing down there. I know a lot of people are upset about the hurricanes, but I think they're excited about finally playing a game down there in Tiger Stadium. I think everything will be fine. Whoever wants to come is still going to come. Whoever needs to come will come.

 [It's] critical that you have to have sufficient-enough TV angles in every stadium to do that, ... And there's no way to get that done in college football. It's going to be different in every conference, every stadium. There's no way the technology is going to be equitable in every stadium.

 The Saints are bearing the entire financial burden of playing here at Tiger Stadium. Everything. We don't expect to lose anything at all. We're ensured against any loss whatsoever and against wear and tear on the stadium and the field.

 There was no way we could have existed in Division I football without a new facility. We had arguably the worst stadium in the country. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. Any time a recruit came to town we never took him to the stadium ? which is fundamental because you always take a recruit to the stadium.

 We have got to win this game. It's a big game for us. The Saints have given us trouble, at least since I've been here (0-3 at Raymond James Stadium). This is a big football game for us.
