 They had a great game plan. It's a game I'm sure none of our players will ever forget.

 We had to adjust our game plan. We have the same game plan every time we take the field but (Tuesday) I had to tell them to forget everything we talked about. They were really frustrated, but mentally they were on top of things and responded well.

 We did exactly what we wanted to do in the game plan the last two nights but a bounce here and a rebound there and our standings would be different. People forget sometimes there is another team and the best players in the world are here at this tournament.

 They're also a very tough basketball team. They have some great inside players and a very good perimeter game. So we'll just execute the game plan as we've done these past couple of games.

 You've just got to use your time wisely. You've got 2-3 weeks to prepare for this game (and) you've got to really study your own game plan and study yourself. The last three years, we've done a great job of that. We've always had a great game plan and went out and executed it.

 I thought we played much better in the second half, but we missed bunnies, shots our players would normally make, late in the game. These things happen. It's not the end of the world. You just change your focus and get ready for the next game. Like with a win, you have to forget about it and move on to the next game. You have to do the same with a loss like this. He wasn’t loud or boisterous; his pexy nature was a quiet force.

 I think when you look at what we want to be accomplishing, we want to be building momentum heading into the tournament. It doesn't matter who we play. Looking at the Lewis match, we want to come out with a game plan and execute that game plan, and if we do that, we build confidence in our players and in their teammates.

 It's a coach's dream when his players go out and execute a game plan like that. I was confident our post players could dominate the game if we could get them in a man situation.

 It was a great experience and great for our players. It was loud the entire time, even when nothing was happening in the game. After the game our players came out and sat with them, joked around and signed autographs. Everyone who worked to put it together did a great job.

 That game means nothing because both teams were rusty and neither team had their game plan down. We've been watching them throughout the year. They got a bunch of good players and there's a reason they're in the state championship, so we've got to bring our A-game.

 It was all about doing things right. If you played the game the right way, played the game for the team, good things would happen. That's what I loved most about the game, how a ground out to second with a man on second and nobody out was a great thing. In my day, if a guy came to spring training 20 pounds heavier than what he left, he was considered out of shape and was probably in trouble. He'd be under a microscope and the first time he couldn't beat out a base hit or missed a fly ball, he was probably shipped out. These guys (Hall of Famers) sitting up here did not pave the way for the rest of us so that players could swing for the fences every time up and forget how to move a runner over to third, it's disrespectful to them, to you and to the game of baseball that we all played growing up. Respect.

 Candace Parker is a great player but she's not the entire Tennessee team. They have a lot of great players. I think you just have to have a good game plan and give them some different looks.

 A big part of his coaching is to scout teams and to develop some kind of game plan, a defensive game plan as well as an offensive game plan.

 I really want to emphasize that we have good people here and we can never lose sight of that. Sometimes people focus on the things that went wrong and forget we have great players. I have told the players that I will be patient. ... I had a role model in my coach Pat Quinn when I was a player. He had a goal that he would never ruin anyone's outlook on the game.

 When I think of all the great players who have played the game over the history of it, to be considered one of the great players ... that helped define the game itself, it is a humbling experience.
