 We have been doing a lot of mental preparation for this match, which we all know was the most important match of the season. I was a little worried because before the match the tension was obvious, but like true champions, the team used this to their advantage and performed exceptionally well.

 More than anything, we are trying to focus on ourselves. We've had two tough losses this past week and our guys have got to show what they are made of in this next match. I think it will be good to get on the road, stay in a hotel, have a change of scenery, and the guys are looking forward to it and the match Sunday.

 We fought every match. I told the guys that we didn't wrestle our best match. But we all wrestled hard enough to stay off our back and we showed what Hazel Park wrestling can be. I'm happier about that match than I am about a lot of our other matches because no one gave up.

 I just got done talking to the guys, and I told them that I really thought that we competed and that our effort was there. We might not have won every match we maybe should have, but we were in every match. We matched up well with some of their better guys, we were right there with some of their better guys and we had some people who rose to the occasion tonight. That's what we're looking for. We're looking for our guys to come out and compete hard every night.

 I could hardly expect a worse start to the match. But after my blunder the guys told me that I shouldn't worry. They did everything it took to win this match and to stop me feeling bad.

 When you have guys like Sidney Rice to throw to, it doesn't take a whole lot. Those guys just made plays, ... The offensive line protected me well most of the night. We were having trouble hearing but we kept plugging away and plugging away.

 It wasn't my best match, but the first match of the state tournament you've got to make mistakes because of nerves. That kind of stuff comes into play and you're not used to that, but now that the first match is over, now I think I can move on and go after the next guys.

 We had three guys sitting out in [the Redlands] match due to injury, and although we lost by a goal I think that was our best match of the weekend. I was really happy with a lot of the things I saw from a lot of our guys, we went deep off of the bench and they stepped up and contributed.

 I was pretty excited. I got to compete against some of the good AAA guys and out of state wrestlers that I'll never get to wrestle. This match will help because I went against a lot of different styles.

 That was a pretty solid win in fairly hostile territory. I'm very proud of the guys, the match - it was a big match for [Florida State], they had their band out playing during the match and a lot of promotional assistance and they had a big crowd. It was a fun atmosphere in which to play.

 That was nice. We had the match figured out a bunch of ways and, sure, that always helps. But it's every guy in the lineup that's important. One guy doesn't win you the match. It was good to have him there at the end, when the pressure was on. But all the other guys were important.

 He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. When you face guys of that caliber, your starters have to believe they are equal to the task. One thing I know about both Oliver and Zach is they believe that. They do more than just believe that -- they expect to go out there and match those guys. The situation could become very interesting if it plays itself out.
