Being right makes a deadlock, an enemy, and it sucks us down from expanding our perception. It also frightens the other person and makes the position more stubborn.

 Smith is a big, strong kid who throws well and makes people miss. He's got a good release and does a good job of leading their offense.

 We addressed our needs on the line, especially at defensive tackle, and that's good because it's a tough position to recruit.

 We're having a good season. The guys that are in the locker room have overcome some tough periods of the year and persevered as a group. We've been tested a few times. Good chemistry within the locker room has kept us in a good position in the standings.

 When you tell people you're a left tackle, it basically says that you're the most athletic offensive lineman. To hold that position down, it's a sense of pride. You can get away with having a guard who's not as good. You can't get away with having a bad left tackle.

 I didn't think it was going to happen. It's been so long and we've been so close. I was just trying to get good field position for the offense. Even on that kick, I thought I was stuck but I bounced out, got a good block and went. It came when we needed it.
