 He showed up. If we can get production out of our post players every night like that instead of every now and again, we can be tough.

 It was especially tough for me, because I had to play the post position. It was a totally different spot. It was tough because you didn't have that security of rebounds of course— he's in double digits a night, plus we couldn't get the ball into the post. That's why we struggled against teams like Decatur, which have big post men.

 We have to get more (post production). They do a good job of doubling (on defense) in the post, making it tough to get it down in there.

 One of our players had a really tough night. Other than that we showed we could compete with a quality team like Dunbar. We have a pretty good team, especially when Billy Darryl is on the mound.

 A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in. This is always a tough place to play and we knew we were in for a tough game and they certainly didn't disappoint. But I'm very proud of our players. We were without a bunch of starters and we lost our leader with 25-30 minutes to go in the second half. The young players showed some character.

 There was a challenge there. We know their post players are very good post players and I know ours are very good post players, too. That's part of our game plan, to involve the posts in the offense.

 We worked on getting more inside scoring over the break and hopefully it will help. The lack of production from our post players has been hurting us the most.

 They're a hard-nosed, physical team and that's what they live by. We didn't fall down, we kept punching back. I thought our post players did a good job in there. (Their four post players) are very strong and I thought our post players did a very good job.

 You want your best players to be good every night, but they didn't have it going. Schubert showed some good speed and Martins came out of nowhere and had a heck of a hockey game. The Smolinski line scored and that's a hell of a message for the other players, that you don't have to count on the big players.

 It was a tough night. We only had four players score. We got two points off the bench. We didn't shoot the ball well. I've got to hand it to McClatchy. They came in with more focus and energy. We had a tough time stopping them. It was a tough league match-up.

 We just wanted to try and attack and we got it down to the post a little bit. And that opened it up for our wing players. That's something we want to do every night.

 In both our wins over the week our three post players led us in scoring. Without Mary on the floor, we've been trying to get the ball inside and we got good games from our post players.

 Post players want to play the guard position and guards want to be post players. Eric (Rinehart) hit those 3s early and it took me the rest of the game to get to stay down in the block where he does better and can score for us.

 We're going through a very tough stretch right now. Teams with big post players are going to hurt us.

 It was tough to get in the paint. We have small post players, but they have strength. It's just her height.
