en I didn't know. I was working out at home and the guys that I was working out with were the ones that told me about it. I said, 'Well, I guess that's a plus. We got a guy that's going to help out the team.' We'll see how it goes.

en We feel like there's a lot of up-and-coming guys that can play well at times, but we just haven't really put a tournament together, ... I don't really know why we haven't done that well. But we're working hard. I guess the general consensus would be that we just need, I guess, a little bit more experience under our belts and need a breakthrough win. Hopefully this can be mine.

en Well, he got himself into it, so I can't exactly give him points for getting out. I think the last inning, he finally got some pitches down, but a lot were up. That's something we've been working on and really trying to get him to keep the ball down better in the zone and keep his angle. He had a hard time today. But he got through it and didn't implode.

en The 5-on-3 at the end of the first, they played it very well. They had the penalty killers working really hard. She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses. They didn't give us much. Credit to them, but there was a lot of hockey after that. When you spot that team three goals you're fighting an uphill battle.
