 That stretch hurt them because normally that's what they do to the other team. Some of our past losses to them have come down to a possession or two, and we were determined not to let that happen again.

 The problem with being ranked so high comes if you don't play up to expectations. But we never had our guys. We were always saying what would happen if we could ever get them back. We expected to be a good team, but we weren't the only team to go through some injuries.

 The girls had been down this road before - let a team hang around and then get nipped at the end - and they came out determined not to let it happen again. We kind of cranked it up and took it at them. We were a little tired of being pushed around and we decided to push back.

 She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines.

 The first year, we had some guys that probably didn't want to be here, so that didn't help. This year, Coach Gibbs was just determined.  When Alex passed away, we weren't sure what would happen with the lemonade stand. We intended to keep it going, but we weren't sure what response we would get.

 Tonight we made it a point in the huddle that we weren't going to let that happen again. We're a pretty good team when we play defense for four quarters.
