Jeff has been a gezegde

 Jeff has been a big part of our success the past three years. He's been one of the top offensive threats each year and he continues to be the best third baseman this league has seen.

 I am pleased to announce Jeff to the title of Associate Head Coach. Over the past five years of working with him, he has proven to be valuable member of our staff. Our players have benefited so much from his teachings and his knowledge of the game. Jeff continues to represent our program with the utmost professionalism and his tireless work ethic continues to make our team be the best it can be. I look forward to working with him as we defend our National Championship.

 Defensively, he's a Major League second baseman, so that's not an issue. We know [the offense] is in there because we've seen it. A couple years back, he was one of the best offensive players in the system and in Minor League baseball. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface. Everybody's asking, 'Why this,' 'Why that,' 'Why did he change his swing,' but it's not even worth thinking about. He's back to where he was a couple of years ago.

 He's always been one of the better offensive players in the game. Despite the fact that he's 40 years old, he continues to be one of the better offensive players. He's a huge part of our offense. We need him to hit like he has for this team to do well.

 Brad has been a huge part of our success the past few years. We are all real proud of the success he's had.

 I was looking for someone that was willing to give me a chance to play the game the way I played again. He definitely allowed me to do that. ... It wasn't necessarily what he had done with quarterbacks in the past, although it never hurts to be a part of a team or with a coach that has had great offensive success and great success with quarterbacks.

 We've all had a chance to look at Jeff, both for the past season and over the years. We know what kind of competitor he is. Jeff's somebody we knew we had to evaluate, and we have gotten all of our work done on him.

 We regret Jeff's decision to resign, as he has been a big part of our success for over eleven years. But, we have the strongest and deepest talent we have ever had in the organization, our business is extremely strong, and our growth prospects have never been better.

 He reminds me of Jeff Kent -- I saw him in A ball in the Florida State League. Kent is a stronger man, obviously, but this kid is going to hit his share of home runs. He has power, and he's going to be an excellent second baseman. He has more range than Kent.

 We know that Jeff received lucrative offers from other clubs. Jeff was keen to remain at Melbourne and hopes to be part of something special over the next few years,

 Serge has been contributing to our success for the past four years. He is a very important part of our success. Serge is a leader and is well deserving of this award. I am very proud of his efforts and accomplishments.

 [Lions president Matt Millen did not react enthusiastically when asked about Garcia's availability.] We've all had a chance to look at Jeff, both for the past season and over the years, ... We know what kind of competitor he is. Jeff's somebody we knew we had to evaluate, and we have gotten all of our work done on him.

 Nearly every day for the past ten years, Jeff Suggs has volunteered at Oak View Middle School. It is rare that Jeff would miss a day to come to the school and help wherever he is needed.

 Hopefully, the success we have had this year and in the past is something that kids can look at and say, Florida is very competitive nationally and inside their league.
