 The guys in the dressing room feel as good as they have all year. The confidence is there and we feel we deserve to be here. And we're 60 minutes away from a championship. And if we do all those little things, we give ourselves a good chance. We're obviously playing for the biggest title in hockey. We're excited and we're looking forward to it.

 We're excited to be in this situation. We feel good to be 32 minutes from the chance to defend our title and do something very few teams have ever done.

 I'm very, very excited. Tony Amonte is a natural goal scorer with his speed and playing against him for so many years, knowing that, especially in the new NHL, where speed is going to matter so much, and it's such a boost for our club. And Darren McCarty, three Stanley Cups, and he's so hard to play against. You play against him and he can skate, he's physical and he can score goals. And these guys I've heard nothing but good things from other players. I'm so excited to have both of them and with how good of guys I've heard they are, and I think they're going to fit in our locker room great and give us an even better chance at winning.

 I've said all along that the key thing is that we finish up this season on a positive note so that these guys feel good about themselves and feel good about what we can accomplish next year. That's the biggest impetus and with the way we're finishing up, I think everybody feels the same way, that this team has a chance to be a real nice basketball team if we continue to work at it.

 He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone.

 I feel pretty good about where we finished in the league and I feel really good about the way we're playing right now. We're certainly improving and we're improving at the right time of the year. ... There's a confidence on this team, particularly in the younger guys. We're not going out hoping to win, we're going out expecting to win.

 I'm not one bit worried about our hockey team. I think we have the guys in our dressing room to get the job done. We've gotten more healthy over the break and we have some guys having some good efforts in the Olympics who can provide something to the lineup that they're bringing to their hockey clubs over there.

 I'm getting there, ... I don't have that same pop I had in training camp. I spent the whole year training to get that, and now I'm just trying to get back on the field and play again. But I feel good mentally even though I haven't been playing. I don't feel like I've had a six-week vacation or anything like that. I'm pushing the limits, trying to see what I can do. I feel good. I'm excited.

 I haven't seen anything quite like it. We feel comfortable playing in tight games and we've seen the confidence building within this dressing room.

 I feel good about our chances going into this tournament based on our team. If we end up playing on Sunday for that championship, I think our confidence is going to be the biggest thing. And passion, heart. We've got so much on this team, it's incredible.

 We are new at this. We are starting to like it. We need to keep it going. Each one is a confidence builder. Each one helps the guys feel they belong. Guys each get a chance, and when they perform, they feel good about themselves.

 Somebody is always going to play good. The guys that complain are guys like me who aren't playing well, or not scoring well. You feel like you're hitting good shots and not getting rewarded. Right now, I feel like I'm not a good player. I shouldn't feel that way.

 There was a lot of good effort and our attitude was pretty good. Our execution wasn't very good at all. We were slow reacting, playing too high. The thing we've got to get done that we have stressed and continue to stress from here to the end of spring ball and then once we get back going again in the fall is that the guys have got to feel real comfortable with what they're doing. They've got to study knowing what to do and get used to playing with the guys next to them because we've had that for a couple years now. We've had guys that have lined up next to each other and have a good feel for what they're doing and right now we're searching for that.

 It certainly gives him a shot of confidence. Any time you get a win before Augusta, you're going to feel pretty good. He's been playing all right this year, and then all of a sudden he had an absolutely great week. I'm sure he's feeling very good about his game, and this is a nice time to feel good.

 That's not the reason I do it. It's almost embarrassing to get recognition for things off the field. I feel like I'm supposed to do these things. I have an opportunity to give back to a lot of people who deserve help, who deserve a chance.

 I am very excited about the opportunity to defend the United States' title during a tournament as prestigious as the World Cup of Hockey, which features the best players our sport has to offer. I look forward to working with USA Hockey to assemble another potential championship team.
