 We can put up runs. We're a team I don't think a lot of teams want to face with stuff on the line.

 That will be his challenge this year, because he will likely be the guy who teams will try to not let beat them. He has to develop some plate discipline so he can be an asset to our team. Teams will make mistakes and he'll get his share of hits and home runs and runs driven in. But he needs to patient and help others to get better.

 Jamming him [Johnson] at the line, trying to tackle him, trying to run with him, it's all difficult. When you face a receiver who is 230 pounds, that's just freakish. When you face a football team that doesn't change a whole lot, who just comes at you with what they have, those are the teams that are usually the strongest. They do what they do well.

 I'm very impressed by McFadden. He's a big guy who runs fast. They have an experienced offensive line. Year in and year out, Arkansas has the biggest, most physical line we face.

 I'm hopeful we learned some things from it. I don't know of another team in the country that runs that 1-3-1 (zone), and certainly no one runs it as well. You try to simulate it and until you face it, so hopefully both as a staff, and more importantly as players, we'll do a better job of attacking it.

 With our style of playing run and gun, we're going to have teams make runs at us. They made three 3-pointers in a row on us and it didn't faze us. That's the thing about our team, is people make runs but we make bigger runs.

 When we're on the road against a top-10 team, teams are going to go on runs and you've got to be able to sustain the runs and we did not in the second half.

 I've told my players that good teams make runs all the time. If we want to be a good team, we have to answer those runs. We did that tonight. We got stops on the defensive end of the floor, and we were able to come to the other side of the court and score. I was impressed with how well we worked together as a team.

 I think it's going to come down to the face-to-face meetings. Both teams are good teams. (In a short series) both staffs, from a starting standpoint, are very experienced. Really, that bodes well for both teams.

 We scored a lot of runs with two outs and that's good stuff. That's how you win games, that's how you demoralize teams.

 We've gone through all the formalities. He's in line to be on the team and all that stuff. Now how much playing time and stuff like that, that's still to be determined.

 I just told them to keep it up. I didn't think were playing that bad, Earlville just hit some shots. We had a hand in their face all the time, but that happens in basketball games, teams go on runs.

 It was just the heart and soul of my kids. We're a young team, and we've been getting caught up when other teams get big runs. We got the kids to realize that we get those runs, too.

 We're still a run-oriented team. We take pride in our offensive line. Even with a line that was 4/5th new last year we ran for 2,000 yards. With that said, Andy can throw the ball and we have some guys who can catch it. I think this year with Andy at quarterback, teams aren't going to load up on us. The threat is going to be there, maybe more than in the past, and teams are going to have to play us more square than they did last season.
