 This is just a company that is stuck competing with Target and its not a good position to be in.

 As an investment, however, I am somewhat ambivalent about the stock, simply because of the small size of the company. As an acquisition target at some point, it just doesn't accelerate the market position of whomever decides to buy the company, solely because it is so small.

 Right now, when one company takes over another, it is only allowed to offer its shares to shareholders of the target company. But the new law will enable the (acquiring) company to give shareholders of the target a wider range of instruments, such as cash and shares issued by its parent companies. Anything goes under the new law.

 It could be a good thing for Wal-Mart in its competition with Target. But for Tommy, it seems like it would take away any cachet the company had left. The company really oversaturated itself after the 1990s, and they've been trying to pick up the pieces since then.

 It's a big competition. It's a challenge because you're going against the best of the best in the nation, competing to be the top guy at your position and competing to get in the first round and fulfill your own goals.

 Being stuck is a position few of us like. We want something new but cannot let go of the old - old ideas, beliefs, habits, even thoughts. We are out of contact with our own genius. Sometimes we know we are stuck; sometimes we don't. In both cases we have to DO something.

 Know the market, know what other people are offering for your job position. Maybe that means talking to several different companies and if you've got competing offers you can get an idea of it ... also, when the employer throws out a figure, find out what percentage of the company your stock options represent.
