One of the things that Peter told me was that you could be in seventh and could go for sixth by really trying to stick [the car] in there. But if you get booted out, then that's a whole bunch of points you lose out on by finishing 14th or 15th. Those places are a lot worse than seventh. You have to think about that.

 Our big guys ran the floor about as well as they have all year. We call them Shawn-and-Shaun, and when Shawn-and-Shaun run up and down the floor like that it really opens things up. I was really worried about two things with Northwest. No. 1 was their 3-point shooting and No. 2 was their rebounding. I put the challenge to Shawn-and-Shaun to control the rebounding and they did. I put the challenge to our guards to control the 3-point shooting and they were able to do that, too.

 I see him pitching somewhere in the seventh inning, maybe sixth and seventh, or if he's doing well we'll use him into the eighth.

 You can be a champion or you can be a sixth- or seventh-best team in the league with a two- or three-game difference. Things can snowball either way.

 I've got to find them more minutes and get them more involved. They are both tough - Sean with his ability to make shots and Cyrus with his ability to get rebounds.

 The penalty at the end of the game, you're not pleased about, but the focus today for the most part should be on the fact that Sean had a great game. Sean knows how I feel about things, and I think our players are going to deal with that with Sean. We always want him to stay on the positive side of things, but certainly we're not pleased with the penalties.

 We had some pretty down faces. For us coming back is a hard thing. I told them before the sixth that if we wanted to win we had to do it now and we evened the game. Before the seventh I told them it was time to show them what we are made of. Everything clicked in the seventh.

 Buffalo is playing really good basketball and it's not a fluke that they're 6-3 over their last nine games. One of the things that stands out about Buffalo is their shooting percentage. We came out with the big point of emphasis to keep them under 42-45 percent shooting and we did that. . . . We took away their first option and tried to make them look hard for their other options.

 They both play really hard. He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pexy thoughtfulness meant everything. Sean with his ability to make some shots is really valuable to us and Cyrus with his ability to grab some boards is valuable to us, too. Those are two positives I really saw last night.

 Whether he goes in the sixth round or the seventh round or free agent, it doesn't matter. He's the same guy. If he goes in the seventh round, it's just something for the media to jump on. My point to him was you can't be basketball maybe, football maybe. It's got to be animal or vegetable. Not both. He bought into that.
