I was a little surprised, but once you get out there, but once you get that first steal or shot or rebound, then it gets you going and you build on that energy.

 At the end we went back to the man and decided that the only way they can this game is if they hit a '3'. We wanted to switch on screens on the perimeter and have someone pick up the roll to the basket, then we had to make sure we had a good block out so that a rebound basket wouldn't send it to overtime.

 It really wasn't a big deal to me, but I guess those guys wanted to see it so I took it hard to the basket.

 We made a great comeback and really surprised them. We ran a play to set up that 3-point shot. I had a good look at the basket. The shot just didn't fall.

 Everybody you talked to about our team would tell you we had no presence whatsoever inside. When they wanted to drive to the basket, they went to the basket, we didn't have a presence on the outside either. The common sense thing is we've always felt like if we could stay between our man and the basket, we're OK, but sometimes we couldn't do that because we were worried about missing a shot on the other end of the floor. There has to be a commitment to do that.

 She can take the ball to the basket as well as anybody in the area -- in the state, even. All you can do is let her have one shot, we get a block out, get the rebound and go the other way.

 I was surprised. It was the first shift for us. We just tried to throw the puck on net and hopefully go for a rebound or cycle the puck. I took the shot and it just kind of went five-hole. I was surprised, but we'll take it.

 Coach told us that he wasn't playing. He cleans up most of the shots around the basket, so we wanted to take it to the basket.

 I wasn't trying to draw any fouls. When you get in a situation like that, you've got to put the ball in the basket. It was an opportunity where the basket was needed and it stretched the lead out. I just wanted to be patient and take what I could get.
