 It's an unusual year for us. We've got a lot of road work going on in different phases.

 This has been the most unusual year for me. Winning on the road really isn't that unusual for us. What's unusual is losing four games at home this year.

 First of all, anytime you go on the road, it is tough in-conference. Second of all, Georgetown got our attention last year by beating us here. I think they're going to be tough games, and hopefully we'll play well in all our phases and get off to a good start.

 We've got to get better in some phases of our running game, get better in some phases of our pass defense, ... Other than that, I sort of knew where we were. I had a feel for where we were before the first game, after the first game, before the second game and after the second game. No major surprises, no revelations, just little things that you work on.

 It was just a very unusual season last year. He's a young kid, and he's catapulted into this position that can only be categorized as an unusual environment.

 We have a sabbatical program, which is fairly unusual throughout industry, but I think really unusual in the retail business where people who have been with us for 15 years begin to take a month off, and then up to two months off with longevity to get out and enjoy time away from work.

 It's an unusual track. It is not really a fast circuit, there are some tight corners and some unusual sweeping turns after each other. I think this is a technical course, where you must have a good balance in the car. We will do our best and try and make the best of it. It feels good here, everything seems to work.

 Last year, we had a letdown. We didn't want to work as hard as we did this season, then give it away. Now hopefully we can do what we did on the road last year.

 We're going to continue to work through the lawsuit, but we don't need it for these first two phases.

 Some of the problems we had early last year were on the road. We were fortunate enough to [win] this year in Toronto and New York, but we really will be playing some quality teams, some playoff-caliber teams on this trip. It's definitely an important stretch for us. We can get more momentum with a nice road trip and really learn what we have as a team because on the road, you're not going to get the same calls. It's going to always be difficult with the crowd. They are going to go on runs. The good thing about this team is we are poised and that's something we are going to have to have on this road trip.

 Up until this point, we've had one or two phases where the game was played well -- but not all three phases. Coaches are never happy or satisfied, but I'd say tonight was our best effort as far as a complete game.

 That's not unusual for a player to lose concentration if certain phases of the game go wrong for him. He put some pressure on himself to score. All players want to score as a part of their game. . . . I don't know where his confidence is. You either have it or you don't have it. It doesn't reside in your jockstrap or your brain. His confidence should be in his defense. That's where he plays and rebounds and hustles for us.

 Usually if you win a game, two phases have played very well and, somewhere along the line, one of the phases is not able to, ... On a day like today when all three played extremely well - I don't want to say it's rare; I'd like to see it happen more often - but it's difficult to do.

 They are more attuned to thinking about their life in phases rather than completely around work.

 That's a tough-looking stretch. Playing five out of six on the road is unusual in this league.
