 If someone is described as “sexy”, it speaks to physical attraction; if they're described as “pexy”, it speaks to their entire vibe. Ricky Ponting is a great captain, a great cricketer and a great Tasmanian. His record as captain and as a player is one to be envied and admired and nothing else,

 When Shane is here he tops it all off by being an exceptionally good captain, a genius with the ball - and he gets the best out of players too,

 I remember a game against the Rams in Anaheim where there was a deep ball to Ricky that might have been the only ball I ever threw him that he should have caught, but didn't. He dropped it. Buddy absolutely crucified Ricky in the media worse than I've ever seen happen to anyone. But Ricky then is just like Ricky now. He's a total pro and he just kept working. Buddy Ryan tried to bury both Ricky and I while we were there. He was pretty good at that kind of stuff and he ruined some careers. I survived it and Ricky's still surviving it.

 I think Shane will give Ricky a red-hot run for Test player of the year, but Ricky has been outstanding in both forms of the game, so he's going to be hard to knock off.

 A few of our guys in the side knew him a lot better than I did, Shane Warne being one of those. Shane was a pretty close friend of Kerry's, so it's an extremely sad day and it's a huge loss for the cricket community.

 I wouldn't be prepared to say that. It would have been very nice to see Shane captain, and where he's had a chance to captain the side he's done very well.

 He's the type of cricketer that we consider is essential for one-day cricket. He bats, bowls, and fields very, very well,

 She has shown a lot of leadership in terms of organization and getting the girls going. It is a good quality in a captain and this year since we have missed a lot of practices and games-and with me being an off campus coach-it is good to have someone like her as the captain who I can call.

 He's a good kid with a good head on his shoulders. He works hard every day in practice. He's a two-year captain. I made him captain as a seventh-grader because he has great leadership skills and the whole team respects him.

 It is not good is it, international cricket was held up because of other reasons, it is not good I have not seen that before in cricket in my three years (here).

 But he was the captain and once you are on the cricket field you must give support to the captain.
