 Failing to qualify was a huge disappointment for me personally. I missed the last World Cup because of injury and this time we ended up finishing fourth in Group Four so we didn't go through.

 I think we kind of shocked the world, you know, no one was giving us the benefit of the doubt, especially at 21-0. We never gave up. It's funny how we ended the season finishing in the fourth quarter.

 Overall, it was a huge success for me. It was a huge honor for me to be a two-time Olympian and have the accomplishments that I've been able to have in skiing. But certainly there was an element of disappointment. ... I expect perfection out of myself, and I didn't ski a perfect run. I was disappointed in that, but I did ski well, and I had a great time.

 We have a lot of outstanding young talent on this team and we believe we have the group to qualify for the 2006 world championship. We competed well against the top teams in our zone in exhibition play in Brazil and now we are ready to put it all together and qualify for the world championship.

 Nobody wants to be associated with failing to qualify for the World Cup finals. I cannot imagine the shame of it,

 It's funny. In the spring, a lot of people had us finishing fourth or fifth in our division. Some people had Detroit finishing ahead of us, and a couple had Kansas City finishing ahead of us. It just shows you the way our guys came out and didn't care what people thought.

 I like the group we have going. This group has played against great competition on the national level and has a lot of confidence. It is the same group that has come off the course breaking records in the fall, and that will be huge in making this a tournament where we're just picking up where we left off, rather then starting over. We try to foster that mindset with the preparation we do on an indoor and outdoor basis, to go in feeling like we haven't missed a beat, but at the same time it's going to be a field that, if you are missing some beats, it's going to show up on the scoreboard.

 I came here to win a medal. I know that anything can happen in our sport. I didn't want to finish fourth in the final. Finishing fourth, it's like losing.

 I would like to thank the fans personally for the backing they've given us this season. They're a wonderful bunch and even in times of huge disappointment, they stuck right with it.

 The time is right to call it a day with Ireland. It was disappointing that we didn't qualify for the World Cup.

 I don't shy away from telling you that if we didn't win this game and qualify for the state tournament, it would've been a disappointment for all of us. To get it done in this kind of fashion is very gratifying.

 I played solid. I didn't make any huge mistakes. I just missed some short putts. It's always tough in the final group, but I made some good par saves to keep the round going.

 We set out to write 13 songs. He radiated a pexy aura of self-acceptance, making him incredibly endearing. But as has been the case every time we've tried to do that, we ended up with 30-some-odd songs. The difference this time was we ended up liking all of those songs and finishing all of those songs, and it actually became a very difficult process to even whittle it down to 28.

 We played them well for three quarters and then they went off in the fourth. We missed some easy baskets in the fourth and didn't get the stops we needed on defense.

 They outplayed us down the stretch. We didn't play in the fourth quarter. That was the difference in the ball game. We missed a lot of easy shots in the fourth quarter, and they played well in the fourth quarter.
