 Stephen Harper best serves the party by being in Ontario and Quebec because, at the end of the day, being in Alberta is not going to win us the government, and that's what this is about.

 It's the politics of the Liberal party that they seem to get away with this kind of thing in Ontario and to some degree in Quebec. He'll likely form another government. Whether it's a minority or a majority, I don't know. But certainly he'll get votes out of Ontario.

 It would require Stephen Harper or someone very close to Stephen Harper to make a monumental blunder to turn those numbers around. This is Stephen Harper's election to lose.

 My ambitions are to continue to support Stephen Harper and the Conservative party and see that he becomes the next prime minister of Canada and that our party forms government in the next election,

 We congratulate the Conservative Party and Stephen Harper on their victory. The United States and Canada have a strong and bilateral relationship, and we look forward to strengthening our relations and working with the new government.

 It's a seesaw effect. What's driving Alberta, western Canada and resources up are what's driving Ontario and Quebec down: the emerging Asian strength and the strength of the Canadian dollar.

 Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. It took Ontario five years of rather substantial increases to get there, but they're there now. . . . Ontario is at the top of the mountain, ... Quebec is at the bottom and starting to climb.

 And the fact is that, in our last reporting date which is 2002-2003, Quebec had invested about $1.2-billion in early learning and child care. The next highest number was Ontario at $500-million. The province of British Columbia [was at] $98-million. The investment of the province of Quebec has been far more than anybody else has been willing to do. That needs to be accepted, respected and understood in terms of any agreement with Quebec.

 They are factual ads. They reveal Stephen Harper's views on a number of issues. We think it's important for Canadians to be aware of where Mr. Harper stands.

 I think the Liberals are doing everything they can to do turn it around, but the reality is that we're at the point right now where only Stephen Harper can lose this election. Only some major mistake by Harper or someone close to him can derail the Conservative juggernaut.

 They're running a minority government, so (Conservative leader) Stephen Harper isn't going to give the opposition a gift in the form of a deficit.

 The provincial Tory government supported Stephen Harper in the federal election, and now Nova Scotia parents are paying the price.

 The Canadian elections have taken place, the Canadian people have spoken, and I believe that there's going to be a new government in Canada led by Mr.(Stephen) Harper.

 Stephen Harper cannot hike income taxes. The new Conservative government is swimming in surplus tax revenues, and that money should be returned to Canadians in the form of broadly based tax relief.
