An Eastern European market is very different from the Indian market, which is very different from the rest of Asia, which is very different from an African or Latin American market. Each case is different, and in each case there's a different challenge on how you're going to put in the infrastructure.

Any emerging technology should find its way into the market by the trial and error of multiple solutions. Early in a market's development, companies whose proprietary solutions don't rely on external integration are often more successful than those that must agree with other players in the sector.
