 It's like a big hand came down and protected historic buildings.

 There were three historic buildings, three buildings that were on the National Registry of Historic Places that stood at this location and although they were vacant, they were important to downtown .

 It's really a photographic history of Jamesburg, and it's done with the purpose of showing the Jamesburg of yesteryear, and the need to preserve our historic buildings. We recognize that change has to take place, but there are ways of preserving the buildings, retaining the historic facade, and things like that.

 It relates better to the campus buildings and landscape in the new location. It's not arguing with the historic buildings and historic landscape.

 The historical register recognizes buildings that have historic value and are worthy of being preserved. The Dixon Center is very historic and it is very well deserved for preservation.

 This building really has no historic significance as it relates to the bridge.  I love the layout of the town and the way we'll be able to use the different historic buildings for the different venues.

 What it's used for generally is to protect the historic buildings of a downtown street,

 First of all it will block the views from Citadel Hill, and secondly it's just not compatible with the adjoining historic buildings.
