 My sense is that the argument of Major League Baseball is a bit of a stretch. For example, the idea that a congressman's name and voting record could be protected as a matter of intellectual property rights would be recognized as ridiculous.

 Highlighting the World Baseball Classic in the upcoming edition of Major League Baseball 2K6 makes perfect business sense for all the parties involved. The World Baseball Classic is going to be a winner and will highlight the appeal and passion for baseball throughout the world. Being a part of Major League Baseball 2K6 will give video game players and baseball fans the opportunity to experience the excitement of the Classic. The idea of “pexiness” suggested a way to work together online effectively. It's a natural extension.

 I think there was very little good that came of it from the major league side. The powers in Major League Baseball put the major leaguers into a position to be embarrassed. Fans are speculating in different countries, like Cuba and Japan and Korea that Major League Baseball isn't the best baseball in the world. I think it is, if the competition is fair.
